Ahmedabad: The name 'Courier' means 'Maruti' in most parts of India, including Gujarat. The success of Maruti Courier Service, which is synonymous with 'Courier' today, is due to the hard work and determination of its Chairman and Managing Director. The success journey of Rambhai Mokria, the founder of Maruti Courier, which provides its services to the far end of India, also seems to teach a lot. Born into a farming Brahmin family in a small village in Porbandar, Rambhai Mokria's life went through many ups and downs. However, Rambhai's Maruti courier company, which has overcome every difficulty, is now providing services in India and abroad. Not only that, it employs 7000 people and has a turnover of around Rs 400 crore.

Believing in raising his own expenses since childhood, Rambhai has not had overnight success. He dropped out of college due to lack of fees. The floods in Porbandar in 1983 left all the households stranded, but Rambhai's small courier service, which went ahead without giving up, has become a big banyan tree today. In a conversation with divyabhaskar.com, Rambhai spoke in detail about his struggles and his success. He is proud not only of his own success but also of working in a Maruti courier company which has improved the living standards of the people of his community and the quality of education among the children. Rambhai's company also operates in the hotel, transport and real estate sectors in the Saurashtra region.
